("Tako", "WGMI", "we", "us", or "our") operates in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the Brazilian General Data Protection Law ("LGPD"), regulations issued by the Brazilian Data Protection Authority ("ANPD"), and any other data protection rules applicable to us (collectively, "Data Protection Laws and Regulations"), and in accordance with this Privacy Policy ("Policy").
Tako is committed to observing the Data Protection Laws and Regulations and to safeguarding the security of any information it has access to or processes in the course of its operations, in particular information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("Personal Data").
As part of our services, we make available to our corporate customers ("Customers") Tako Recruiter, an automated interview solution that uses voice artificial intelligence to conduct interviews with candidates for job openings in an autonomous and efficient manner, in accordance with the criteria defined by the Customer responsible for running the recruitment and selection process.
This Policy explains, in a simple, objective, and transparent manner, which Personal Data is collected, used, and processed by us during your use of Tako Recruiter, in addition to identifying with whom such data may be shared and the resources available to data subjects ("Data Subjects", "You", or "your") for managing their Personal Data.
This Policy must be read carefully together with the Terms of Use, which describe the terms and conditions applicable to access to and use of Tako Recruiter.

1. Who the Processing Agents and Data Subjects Are
Processing Agents. Processing agents are the controller, who is responsible for the decisions relating to the processing of Personal Data ("Controller"), and the operator, who processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller ("Operator"), in accordance with applicable Data Protection Laws and Regulations.
Customer as Controller. The Controller of the Personal Data collected in connection with your use of Tako Recruiter will be our Customer — that is, the company running the recruitment and selection process you are participating in. The Customer is responsible for defining the purpose of the processing, as well as for determining the next steps of your recruitment and selection process.
Tako as Operator. When we make Tako Recruiter available to our Customers, we act as Operator, since we process the Personal Data described in this Policy on behalf of Customers, who are responsible for defining the main elements of the processing of Personal Data — the processing operation, the purpose, and the duration of the processing — and are therefore considered the Controllers of the Personal Data.
Data Subjects. In the context of the use of Tako Recruiter, the Data Subjects are the candidates for job openings who are enrolled in the recruitment and selection processes organized by our Customers.
2. Purposes and Legal Bases
Personal Data may be used for the following activities:
- Identification – To identify candidates when they access Tako Recruiter to take their interviews.
- Scheduling – To schedule the interview at the time that best suits the candidate's needs.
- Interview – To allow the artificial intelligence tool to conduct the interview in a voice and/or video session, through pre-defined questions based on the criteria of the job opening the candidate is applying for.
- Interview transcription – To allow the interview to be transcribed so that the information provided by the candidate can be analyzed.
- Candidate analysis – To prepare a summary of the key information related to the candidate, as well as an analysis of the candidate's compatibility with the job opening prerequisites determined by the Customer.
- Candidate feedback – To prepare personalized feedback on the candidate's participation in the interview.
IMPORTANT: the Personal Data provided during your use of Tako Recruiter will not be used to train artificial intelligence tools, whether by Tako or by any sub-operators contracted by Tako.
Note that, since we process your Personal Data as Operators, on behalf of our Customers, we are not responsible for determining the legal basis for processing your Personal Data. The Controller of your Personal Data — the company conducting the selection process you are participating in — is responsible for choosing the most appropriate legal basis for our processing of your Personal Data.
3. Which Personal Data do we collect and process?
The following Personal Data may be collected during your use of Tako Recruiter:
A. Navigation and Device Information. Information collected through technologies such as cookies, pixels, identifiers, and other tools when you interact with Tako Recruiter. This information may include:
- Information about the candidate's mobile device or computer, such as IP address;
- Type of browser used;
- The candidate's session duration on Tako Recruiter;
- Navigation paths within Tako Recruiter;
- The candidate's geolocation while browsing Tako Recruiter; and
- Data on the candidate's behavior within Tako Recruiter.
B. Account Data. Information requested from the candidate when they identify themselves in order to access the features made available on Tako Recruiter. In addition, we may also process your Personal Data when you contact us or our support team, for example. This Personal Data may include:
- Full name;
- CPF (Brazilian tax ID);
- E-mail address;
- The job opening the candidate is applying for.
C. Interview Data. Information provided by the candidate during the interview conducted on Tako Recruiter. This Personal Data may include:
- Full name;
- Voice;
- Image;
- Professional experience;
- Other Personal Data that the candidate chooses to provide during the interview.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small data files capable of storing and recognizing information related to your browsing. During the use of and browsing on Tako Recruiter, three distinct types of cookies may be employed:
- User identification and authentication: these cookies are intended to individually recognize users, allowing access to and use of restricted content and/or services on Tako Recruiter, as well as providing personalized browsing experiences.
- Security and detection of malicious activity: these cookies are used to enable security features of Tako Recruiter, in order to help monitor and/or detect malicious activity or activity that breaches the Terms of Use.
- Performance and navigation analytics: these cookies are intended to help us understand the performance of Tako Recruiter, evaluate audience, and analyze candidates' browsing patterns.
When the candidate clicks on links that lead to a third-party site or service, that third party may employ other cookies. We remind you that this Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties, and we are not responsible for the practices and privacy policies of such third parties.
5. When do we delete Personal Data?
We have structured Tako Recruiter so that your Personal Data is not retained for longer than necessary. That is, we keep Personal Data only for the period during which it is needed for the purposes described above.
6. Who else will have access to Personal Data and for what reason(s)?
To allow you to use Tako Recruiter to take interviews as part of your recruitment and selection process, we will share your Personal Data with the following third parties:
- Customers – We will share your Personal Data with our Customers, who are the Controllers of your Personal Data, since we process Personal Data on behalf of and following the instructions of our Customers.
- Artificial intelligence tool providers – Tako Recruiter is built using artificial intelligence tools provided by third parties. We may share your Personal Data with such providers in order to make the features described in this Policy available. We reiterate that your Personal Data will not be used to train such tools.
- Cloud provider – We store your Personal Data in third-party data centers located in Virginia, in the United States. We currently use data center services provided by cloud computing operators such as AWS.
7. What are your rights with respect to your Personal Data?
You, as a data subject, have the following rights and guarantees with respect to your Personal Data. We reiterate that, in our capacity as Operator, if you wish to exercise any of the rights below, you must submit your request directly to the Controller of your Personal Data — that is, to the company you have applied to.
- Obtain confirmation that we process your Personal Data;
- Access your Personal Data;
- Correct Personal Data that is incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date;
- Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of Personal Data that is unnecessary, excessive, or processed in violation of the LGPD;
- Request the portability of your Personal Data to another service or product provider;
- Withdraw your consent for the processing of your Personal Data, whenever the processing is based on your consent;
- Request the deletion of Personal Data processed based on your consent;
- Obtain information about the possibility of not providing your consent and the consequences thereof;
- Obtain information about with whom we share your Personal Data;
- Object to processing that violates the LGPD;
- Request the review of decisions made solely on the basis of automated processing of your Personal Data.
8. How do we store and protect your Personal Data?
We store your Personal Data securely in restricted-access locations. We currently use data center services located in the United States and provided by cloud computing operators such as AWS.
We adopt market best practices to prevent the loss, alteration, use, destruction, or any improper processing of your Personal Data. Although we adopt appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Data, no website or platform available on the Internet is fully secure.
9. International Transfer
Your Personal Data may be transferred to other countries, including to our storage service providers located in the United States.
Form, duration, and purpose of the international transfer. The international transfer occurs in an electronic and secure manner, through protected systems. The Personal Data is stored and processed for a period compatible with the established purposes and the applicable legal terms. The specific purposes of the international transfer of Personal Data include cloud storage of your Personal Data and processing by Artificial Intelligence tools.
Destination country of the data. Personal Data may be shared with the United States, for cloud storage and processing by Artificial Intelligence tools.
Responsibilities of the processing agents. In this and any other cases in which your Personal Data is transferred outside of Brazil, we will adopt all appropriate measures, as well as those required by law, to ensure that your Personal Data remains duly protected, and that such transfer is carried out in accordance with one of the mechanisms set out in the LGPD and in any other applicable regulations, which will establish the responsibility of the processing agents involved.
10. Artificial Intelligence
You acknowledge that Tako Recruiter is based on artificial intelligence tools provided by third parties and that such tools may assist in automated decisions, such as the validation of information and the analysis of criteria compatibility. You may request the review of such decisions through the channels indicated in this Policy.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may amend the provisions of this Policy at our discretion and at any time.
Whenever we change this Policy, the new version of the Policy will be effective after being published on Tako Recruiter. We recommend that You consult this Policy periodically to stay informed about any updates that may be made.
